Shane Iseral

Shane Iseral, age 50, of Somerset, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Watson officiating. Burial followed in the Barrenfork Cemetery.

Shane was born September 12, 1975, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Charles Iseral and Lora June McCoy. He attended Campground Baptist Church. Shane enjoyed rock and roll music, watching television, and following sports—especially talking baseball statistics. He loved being around people and was known for his sense of humor, his pranks, his enjoyment of good food, and his love of family time.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Justin Iseral, grandma, Lois Iseral, great grandparents, Charlie and Elizabeth Hickman, uncles, Kelly Watson and Milton Watson, and great uncle, Doyle Yancey.

Survivors include his mother, Lora June McCoy; grandma, Arlene Watson; brothers, Eric Iseral (Serena Taylor) and Joshua Iseral; sisters, Angel Perkins (Daniel) and Chastity Iseral; nieces and nephews, Maddox Perkins, Ethan (Brittney) Iseral, Emily (Chris) Reed, Abbagail Perkins, and Austin Perkins; stepmom, Pat Iseral, stepsister, Linda Powell; aunt, Gladys Watson and cousins; Devin and Milena; great aunt, Ruby Yancey; cousins, Brad Yancey (Renee) and Brian Yancey (Heather); great nieces and nephews, Sophia Reed, Zola Faye Reed, and Coalter Taylor, and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins Shane loved.  He is also remembered with gratitude by a wonderful team of healthcare workers who cared for him with dedication and kindness.
