McCreary County Deputy Sheriff Daniel Taylor’s little girl visited her daddy at the office on 9-11 just as Cash Express employees brought cupcakes to thank law enforcement first responders for their dedication to the community. It’s easy to see that Deputy Taylor’s little girl loves and admires her daddy and is trying to follow in his footsteps!

Following the I75 shooting in Laurel County, residents in surrounding counties were on edge, and several school systems cancelled classes. McCreary County chose to put extra precautions in place and continue with classes. Classes ran smoothly throughout the week; and students were kept safe as shown in this photo of Whitley City Elementary School Resource Officer John Bradley walking hand-in-hand with a young student.
