Nancy Jane (Strunk) Bridges

Nancy Jane (Strunk) Bridges, age 61, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her home in Oneida, Tennessee.

Born in Scott County, Tennessee,Aon August 1, 1964, she was the daughter of Opal (Morrow) Strunk and the late Carl James Strunk. Besides her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Carl James Strunk, Jr., and a sister, Patsy Stephens.

Surviving family include her mother, Opal Strunk of Winfield, Tennessee, a son Mikey Bridges of Knoxville, Tennessee, a daughter, Latisha Wilson of Winfield, two brothers, Marshall Strunk and Michael Strunk both of Winfield, a sister Olivia Bacon (and Bob) of Robbins, Tennessee, and seven grandchildren: Gracie Wilson, Connor Wilson, Cole Wilson, Carter Bridges, Keira Bridges, Caraline Bridges and Asher Bridges. She also has a daughter by heart, Cheyenne Spradlin.

Nancy had been a factory worker and caregiver. She enjoyed her grandchildren, traveling, reading, feeding the birds, word searches and life in general.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Kidd officiating. The family received friends for visitation Thursday from 12:00 noon until time for services. She was laid to rest at the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield, Tennessee.
