Bill Roberts

Bill Roberts age 71 years, 3 months and 22 days, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.

He was born July 12, 1954, in Sidney, Ohio, to Clarence Roberts and Susie Jones Roberts. Bill was saved at Mountain View Church. Over the years, he drove a truck, sold real estate, worked in the strip mines, and at Tecumseh.

Known to many as “Guitar Bill,” he shared his music at West 80, Neon Country, and Elvis shows. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Harvey Matthews and Lloyd Matthews, and sisters, Ruby Gregory and Dovie Tucker.

Survivors include sons, Steven Roberts and Adam Roberts, daughters, Stacy Ball, and husband, Lewie, and Lindsey Harper, brothers, Jeff Roberts, and wife Lorene, Estil Matthews, and wife, Glenna and Hunter Jr. “Cecil” Matthews, sister, Ruth Worley, grandchildren, Codey, Domnic, and Rebecca Morgan, Lilly and Mia Roberts, Nick and Jade Coffey, Drew Grundy, Jayla Perry, and Josey and J.J. Harper, great grandchildren, Connor Morgan and Rusty Vaughn, his special lady, Judy Vaughn, his buddy, Delma Coffey, and bonus children, Chad and Andrea.
