George Allen “Bean” Baird

George Allen “Bean’ Baird, age 50 years, of the Sandhill Community died Sunday, August 3, 2025 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 30, 1974 the son of the late Leamon and Eurceline (Vahle) Baird. Bean had worked in the log woods, was a member of the Pine Knot United Baptist Church, and enjoyed, fishing, outdoors, his dog, Bailey, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his stepson, Aaron Baltimore of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Shawna Sammons (Glen) of Whitley City, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Brandon Lawson, Ashley Collins, Brandy Teeters, Leigha Sammons, and Trenton Baird; and a grandchild.
Graveside services will be held 11am Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Vanover Cemetery with Bro. Willis Troxell officiating.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
