The 2025 McCreary County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP) Now Open! CAIP offers agricultural producers cost-share assistance on practices that increase net farm income & opportunities to try new tech or systems to improve efficiency/productivity. Application period July 15 – Aug. 8, 2025. Applications available for pick up at the McCreary Co. Farm Bureau or McCreary Co. Extension Office. Book Signing The McCreary County Senior Citizens and Community Center will host a book launching & signing for Darlene Price’s new book “While No One’s Watching,” on Thursday Aug. 21st, at 7:00pm, at the McCreary County Park.
Williamsburg Gospel Barn is temporarily closed for repairs. We are repairing the damages caused by the flooding received in Feb. We plan to reopen Friday & Saturday, Aug. 2nd & 3rd with the Lake Cumberland Gospel Music Association singing convention and awards show.
