Tuesday, January 14th, McCreary County Fun-Makers met for our regular monthly meeting. After the business meeting, Lana Sumner taught the group how to make resin bookmarks using a variety of pressed dried flowers and glitter and optional colored tassels. Everyone enjoyed this project.
Tuesday, February 11th, McCreary County Fun- Makers met for our regular monthly meeting. Members were reminded that entries are due for the Kentucky State Fair Cultural Arts exhibit no later than February 21st. Please bring items to be submitted to the local extension office and be sure that your name and Cultural Art category is listed on the item. After our business meeting, Lisa Musgrove taught the members how to make a faux stained glass. Materials were all provided and the group thoroughly enjoyed this new project.
** Next Month, on March 11th, Alice Grover will be present to teach the class needle felting. Due to the length of time needed to complete this project members will meet at 1pm and have their regular business meeting at 4pm. A fee of $8 to cover supplies is required for this project.
