Harold Lee Moore

Harold Lee Moore, a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed member of the Pine Knot community, passed away quietly on June 11, 2024, at his home in Pine Knot, KY. Born in Holly Hill, KY, on June 16, 1947, Harold was a proud coal miner who devoted his life to providing for his family and serving his country in the Army. Harold was an avid sportsmen. He loved playing Rook, hunting, and fishing with his buddies and he loved his family very much. He was a member of the Hayes Creek Church of God. Harold will be fondly remembered by his beloved wife of over 56 years, Ella (Neal) Moore, children Anthony Moore, Tammy Butler (Stacey), and Tina Owens (Steve), as well as his cherished grandchildren Whitney Perkins (Chris), Holly Taylor, Trevor Douglas (Jerica Genoe), and Lily Rigney, great grandchildren, Heidi, Halyn, Eli, Ezra, and June, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. A Funeral Service to honor the life of Harold Moore will be held on June 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Croley Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Casada and Bro. Rodney Sulfridge officiating, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place on June 14, 2024, at 6:00 pm in the same location. Following the service, Harold will be laid to rest on June 15, 2024, at 12:30 pm in Pine Knot, KY. Military Honors will be conducted by Stearns 115 Honor Guard. Harold Lee Moore will forever be remembered for his kind spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to his family. He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
