Daniela Breeding
Daniela always comes in with a smile on her face. She is eager to work and ready to learn! She has a positive attitude about everything! Daniela is very helpful as well as dependable. We could not think of a more deserving student! Way to go Daniela!
First Grade Student of the Month
Braylee Stephens
Braylee is a hard independent worker, a helpful classmate, courteous to her peers, and an overall great student. We are so glad to have Braylee as a first-grade student here at Whitley City Elementary!
Second Grade Student of the Month
Addison Ridner
Addison is a role model to others around her by displaying good listening skills and a positive attitude. She is helpful to her classmates and always ready for the day. Way to go Addison!
Third Grade Student of the Month
Kinsley Strunk
Kinsley is an enthusiastic learner and enjoys school! She exhibits a positive outlook and attitude about school. She is always well rested and ready each day. Kinsley strives to reach her full potential. She is courteous and shows good manners in the classroom. We are so proud to have her as a part of our tribe here at WCE!
Fourth Grade Student of the Month
Jase Douglas
Jase gives his best effort in each class and is always well behaved! Jase is a great example of what Indian pride is all about! We are so thankful to have Jase at Whitley City Elementary!
Fifth Grade Student of the Month
Kennedy Carson
Kennedy is a role model student and is always positive. She gives 100% and is a great peer tutor! Kennedy always goes above and beyond and is an all around wonderful student! We are so proud of her!
Teacher of the Month
Ms. Ruth Birney
Teaching is one of the hardest professions, but also one of the most important ones. I want to take a second and recognize our Teacher of the Month, Ms. Ruth Birney. Ms. Birney is constantly working with students to help them achieve success. Not only does she step up and lead her students, but she also helps her colleagues when needed. She is always looking for fun and creative ways to get students excited about learning. She is a great asset to our tribe, and I am incredibly thankful for all she does. Please congratulate her when you see her.
