Janis Miller

Janis Miller, age 78, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

She was born February 10, 1948, to the late Vincent Keith and Rose Keith. Janis lived a life marked by quiet faith, simple joys, and love for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Smith; one brother, Curtis Keith; and two sisters, Valda Keith and Noram Newell.

Janis is survived by her son, Wayne Smith, along with extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic faith and found enjoyment in golfing and reading, pastimes that brought her relaxation and happiness throughout her life.

Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
