Finley Ray Perry

Finley Ray Perry, born August 6, 1954 to Willis “Dick” and Alene Ridner Perry, went home to be with his lord on September 22, 2025.

Finley married the love of his life, Becky Lynn Bryant Perry on July 28, 1975 in Tiffin Ohio. They moved to Parkers Lake, Ky., where they raised their four children. Finley worked years in the logging industry before starting his own business, Perry’s Interiors. He spent many years throughout the state of Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee doing drywalling and building homes. Finley was of the Baptist faith and had gotten his doctoral degree in religion. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents and wife, Finley will be reunited with nephews; Brandon, J.E., Duane and niece; Angie, three brothers; Ruben “Short” Perry, James “Tank” Perry, William Perry and two sisters; Dora (Silas) Strait and Wanda (Russ) Davis.

His surviving siblings include; Doyle “Boone” (Patricia) Perry, Parker’s lake, KY., Lonzo “Dead eye” (Pauline) Perry, Parkers Lake, KY., Lester “Check” Perry, Parkers Lake, KY., Vernon “Rossie” (Carolyn) Perry, Parkers Lake, KY., Zada (Tom) Perry, Parkers Lake, KY., Rosa (Jerry) Stephens, Parkers Lake, KY: Mary Ann (Rodney) Tucker, Parker’s Lake, KY, Amy (Steve) Roth Tiffin, Ohio, Nenia (Terry) Tucker, Day Ridge, KY.

He leaves behind his loving children; Roy Bryant, Burnside, KY., Doyle (Natasha) Perry, Parkers Lake, KY., Shanda Perry, Columbia KY., and Greg (Jessika) Perry, Brian, Texas.

Eleven grandchildren; Kemisha Bryant, Brian Lyons, Wyatt Perry, Cheyenna Perry, DaKotia (Michael) Witt, DaNikia (Cole) Kidd, Brayden Perry, Aaron Goodpastor, Jarod Perry, Jakob Perry, and Jaylen Perry.

Great Grandchildren; Khloe Bryant, Trinidad Bryant, Treyson Bryant, Avery Witt, Amelia Kidd, Stormy Lyons, Asher Lyons, Noella Lyons and one on the way.

He also leaves behind two close friends George Taylor and Tim Perry and numerous nieces and nephew.

He enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends and family, but his greatest blessing was spending time with his beloved grandkids.

Visitation for Finley was held in the Chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home on September 25th, Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, September 26th at Pleasant Knob church at 12:00 pm with burial following in the Bryant Family Cemetery.

McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the funeral services for Finley Ray Perry.
